India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted a steady rise in minimum temperatures for Ahmedabad over the coming days. According to the latest forecast, the city will see a minimum temperature of 18°C and a maximum of 30°C today and tomorrow.
From 25th of December onwards, IMD expects minimum temperature to increase further, reaching 20°C. The city is predicted to observe cloudy skies throughout the day. This gradual rise in night temperatures comes amidst the state’s ongoing winter season, which has already witnessed notable changes from normal levels in recent weeks.
Light rain likely in multiple districts of Gujarat
From December 27, IMD has forecasted light rain in isolated areas across several districts of Gujarat. The affected regions include Banaskantha, Patan, Mehsana, Sabarkantha, Aravalli, Panchmahal, Dahod, Mahisagar, Chhota Udepur, and Narmada. Similarly, districts in the Saurashtra-Kutch area, such as Jamnagar, Porbandar, Morbi, Dwarka, and Kutch, are also likely to experience scattered rainfall.
This unseasonal weather pattern is expected to impact both Gujarat region and Saurashtra-Kutch, with rainfall varying in intensity across these areas.
