To ensure smoother travel for passengers during the festive rush, UPMRC has announced extended operating hours for Lucknow Metro services on December 25 (Christmas Day) and December 31 (New Year’s Eve), 2025.
On both days, metro services will run from 6:00 AM till 12:30 AM (midnight). The last metro train will depart at 12:30 AM from both terminal stations: Munshipulia Metro Station and CCS Airport Metro Station.
UPMRC has clarified that this revised schedule will be applicable only on December 25 and December 31. On all other days, Lucknow Metro services will continue to operate as usual, from 6:00 AM to 10:30 PM.
Additionally, PM Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Lucknow on December 25 for the inauguration of the Rashtriya Prerna Sthal, due to which traffic restrictions will be in place across several parts of the city. Commuters are advised to plan their travel in advance and opt for metro services wherever possible to avoid delays.
