The Lucknow District Administration and Chief Medical Officer have issued new directives to city hospitals and care centres to ensure that each COVID patient gets her/his due treatment. While the state government has directed officials to impose strict fines on all hospitals that refuse care and treatment to patients, Lucknow’s CMO has issued a contact list of nodal officers, to assure medical assistance to those who are not able to get a hospital bed.
Reach out to Nodal Officers to get hospital beds
The CMO has issued a list of 17 hospitals along with the contact information of their nodal officers. The administration is encouraging people to dial the numbers and book a bed in case of any COVID emergency:

Private hospitals reserved for COVID treatment
While people are running from pillar to post to secure beds for their friends and family, the Lucknow District Administration has reserved private centres such as Medanta, Apollomedica and Sahara hospitals for the treatment of COVID-19 patients. This will surely create a higher frequency of beds, easing the situation in the coming days.
On Monday, the district administration also announced that prior COVID-19 testing is not required for pregnant women for their hospital admission. The authorities have warned to take action against those who fail to adhere to the orders.
