Ahmedabad-Bhagalpur Weekly Amrit Bharat Express will begin operations on August 26, connecting Gujarat with Bihar via Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh, among other states. The service will replace the existing 09447/09448 Ahmedabad-Patna-Ahmedabad Clone Special as train numbers 19423/19424. Ticket bookings for train 19423 will open on August 21 through PRS counters and the IRCTC website.
Ahmedabad-Bhagalpur Amrit Bharat Express route
The train will pass through several stations across Gujarat, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. Key halts include Anand, Chhayapuri, Godhra, Dahod, Ratlam, Bhawani Mandi, Ramganj Mandi, Kota, Sawai Madhopur, Gangapur City, Hindaun City, Bayana, Idgah Agra, Tundla, Govindpuri, Subedarganj, Pt Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Junction, Buxar, Ara, Danapur, Patna, Bakhtiyarpur, Mokama, Kiul, Abhaipur, Jamalpur and Sultanganj.
The Amrit Bharat Express will operate once a week and will include general unreserved and sleeper class coaches. The service will operate at speeds ranging from 110 kmph to 130 kmph.
Ahmedabad to Bhagalpur timings
Train 19423 Ahmedabad-Bhagalpur Weekly Amrit Bharat Express will depart Ahmedabad at 6:30 pm every Wednesday, starting August 26. It will arrive at Bhagalpur at 6:40 am on Friday, completing the journey in 36 hours and 10 minutes.
Bhagalpur to Ahmedabad timings
Train 19424 Bhagalpur-Ahmedabad Weekly Amrit Bharat Express will depart Bhagalpur at 4:45 pm every Friday, starting August 28. The train will reach Ahmedabad at 5:25 am on Sunday, with a journey time of approximately 36 hours and 40 minutes.
