British band Coldplay concluded its Music of the Spheres World Tour in India, with a historic second concert at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium on the 26th of January,after its first event on the 25th of January. The event witnessed a staggering attendance of nearly 1.34 lakh fans, making it the most-attended musical concert in Asia, as per reports.
The evening began on a heartfelt note as lead singer Chris Martin greeted the crowd with a warm Hindi welcome, saying, “Dhanyawaad pyaare doston. Aap sabka bohot dhanyawaad ki aapne hume yaha perform karne ka mauka diya.” The energy in the world’s largest stadium, with a capacity of 1.25 lakh, was electric as the audience eagerly awaited the band’s performance!

Chris Martin added a personal touch to the concert by acknowledging India’s 76th Republic Day.
