Indore witnessed moderate showers for the fourth consecutive day on Thursday, with heavy rainfall accumulating over 1.5 inches in just two days. The rain began on Wednesday at noon and continued with varying intensities across different parts of the city until Thursday afternoon. Notably, the city's airport weather station recorded 42.4 mm of rainfall from Wednesday night to Thursday evening. Meanwhile, the overall rainfall in Indore reached a total of 401.7 mm (15.14 inches).

According to Meteorological Department officials, the division's various districts are expected to witness heavy rainfall on Friday, while the Indore district will likely experience light-to-moderate thunderstorms.

Further, it is being said that the monsoon trough at mean sea level currently stretches through Jaisalmer, Kota, Guna, Satna, and Pendra Road as they are the center of the low-pressure area over the northwest Bay of Bengal, and the adjoining Odisha coast, extending east-southeastwards to the East central Bay of Bengal. In light of these conditions, it is reported that very heavy rainfall is predicted over west Madhya Pradesh on July 21.

Moreover, the maximum temperature recorded on Thursday was 32.2 degrees Celsius, while the minimum was 24 degrees Celsius.
