All private labs are directed to adhere to this decision, failing which will attract punishments and hefty fines

In line with the order issued by the administration on Tuesday, private labs can not charge more than ₹50 (including taxes) for a RAT to detect COVID-19 in Rajasthan. According to reports, this is the lowest rate of RAT in India at present.
Strict action to be taken against violators
Taken on the advice of a committee of experts and doctors constituted by the Sawai Man Singh Medical College, this decision is aimed to provide easy and affordable test facilities for the general public in the state.
With this notice effective immediately, all private labs are directed to adhere to this decision failing to which will attract punishments and hefty fines. According to a government spokesperson, strict action will be taken against those found overcharging people for the Rapid Antigen Test.
