One of the much-awaited events in Lucknow, Repertwahr Festival season 10 has already commenced in the city and we’re enjoying every bit of it! Only two days of the festival are remaining and if you haven’t made it to the festival yet, you can must do it now!
To keep us looped in, the Day 4 & 5 of the event will be witnessing prominent plays by theatre veterans, a comedy slot by Aditi Mittal and of course, Parvaaz will be the curtain-call for the entire event.
What’s Buzzing?
Repertwahr Festival’s Season 10 is truly opulence at its best. If you want to taste the nuances of theatre, you gotta come over for Agra Bazaar and Bali, on the 14th and 15th, respectively!
Agra Bazaar is woven around Nazir Akbarabadi’s humanistic poetry and humanism is the theme of the play, whereas Bali is an excerpt from the Indian epic -Ramayana. It is about the retelling of the various events that lead up to the battle between Bali, the ruler of Kishkindha and Ram, the King of Ayodhya.
Amidst all the hustle-bustle, if distressing sounds like a good idea, come over to witness Aditi Mittal today at her hysterical best, 5:30 PM onwards.
The team is also bringing in Parvaaz– they’ll be the concluding act for Repertwahr Festival season 10 and honestly, we see no better way to end this fest. To catch them perform in front of you, head here a little before 8:45 PM on the 16th and thank us later!
Knock Knock
Repertwahr Festival has kept us hooked since its initial years and every winter, you’ll find us here! The roaring crowds and a festive fervour amidst the backdrop of Lucknow winters, just makes us wanna stay a bit longer.
