In Lucknow, with the ongoing situation of the coronavirus cases, you may think that nothing good is happening in the world. Well, the Kaargar Foundation is here to prove you wrong because even in tough, trying times like these, they are lending a helping hand to the needy.
Based in and operating out of Lucknow, the Kaargar Foundation feeds the needy once a week every Friday in locations such as Rajajipuram, Alambagh, Aashiyana and nearby areas. Right now, the only problem isn’t just hunger- it is also the virus that poses as a huge threat.
Kaargar Foundation is about providing help to the needy in every way possible
Apart from just feeding and clothing the homeless, poor and the needy, the foundation is also responsible for spreading awareness about the virus among those who come to seek aid from them. To make it easier, they also teach basic precautions, donate masks and sanitizers to those who cannot afford it for themselves.
At a time like this, when the world seems to be in shambles, the foundation does some good. On an average, their goal is to feed (and now, provide aid) at least 100 people each Friday within Lucknow. The aim of the foundation is to make people’s lives better, even when they have no hope left.
The Kaargar Foundation is the brainchild of Kushagra Chaturvedi and his friends, who had the same idea. How can there be people living in the streets, out in the cold, starving and bearing the ills of homelessness. So, with the power of social media, the Kargaar Foundation was brought to life as a salvation for as many needy people as possible.
Right now, with the world changing and taking unforseen turns, the foundation is the saviour of the needy more than ever before.
