The Regional Science City or Aanchalik Vigyan Nagri in Lucknow is one of the coolest and fun places to be at and you don’t have to be a child to enjoy it. The science center is a crown jewel for tourism in Lucknow and people from around the state come here to have the time of their life. Entryway Science Park
As soon as you enter the science city, you’re greeted with a lush garden and a lot of green. There are a number of fun rides, swings and games that you can partake in and learn about science. The park is full of interesting things such as, musical pipes that explain how vibrating air makes sound, or two statues that explain how sound travels. There are over 50 interactive exhibits that explain things like, simple machines, optics, sound and movement.
The park also has a pet corner where you can spot cute rabbits or beautiful birds and a garden where you can increase your information about medicinal plants.

Pre-historic Park
Unlike the science park, this one only explains one scientific phenomenon- Evolution. With figurines of tall dinosaurs, our neanderthals ancestors and extinct animals like mammoth, this park is the biggest child magnet. You’ll have to drag yourself and the kids away from here, since the park is one of the most peaceful places to be at.

The Exhibitions
The Science center has many-many exhibitions, moving from one hall to the other. Here, a umber of displays house the wonders of science and life in general. Ranging from air pressure, human brain-emotions, societal arrangements, to pre-historic era and agrarian society.
If we have to pick a favourite, the vibrant under water exhibition hall with various creatures, reefs, corals and the fun exhibition hall with different mirrors, games and interactive displays will have to be winners.

SCIMAX and 3D show
Though IMAX and 3D theaters are pretty common these days, the science centre’s informative and educating SCIMAX and 3D shows attract a lot of visitors. these shows are made with a lot of effort, care and patience, since they tell the tales of major historic events, natural phenomenon and wonders of the world. When you’re at the science city again, grab tickets to one of these shows and maybe you’ll find out about something you’ve never heard of or known before.
