Lucknow Airport advisory: Flyers must reconfirm flight schedules 3-4 hours prior to their journey

In view of the increased VIP movements and continuing activities at Lucknow's Chaudhary Charan Singh Airport, the authorities released an advisory for the air passengers on Wednesday. As per the statement, the airport officials have asked the travellers to get in touch with their respective airlines and reconfirm their flight schedules, at least 3 to 4 hours before the journey. This will facilitate easier management of the crowds at the premises and assure hassle-free check-ins.

Lucknow-Agra flights to take off from Chaudhary Charan Singh Airport from October 1

Easing rapid transport and ease of connectivity, a new service from Lucknow to Agra will hit the runway from October 1 onwards. Operated by IndiGo Airlines, this will be a regular flight, read reports. As per the schedule, the service will be available thrice a week, on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Amping up the city's guard against the fatal contagion, an instant RT-PCR testing facility has been started at the Lucknow Airport. Reportedly, on-spot RT-PCR tests will be conducted for international flyers under the scheme and 30 real-time reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) machines have been set up for this purpose. With the inception of this initiative, passengers will be free from the hassle of getting their tests done as the facility is available at the airport itself.
