With the help of this amount, a professor chair will be set up for driving progress in the field of research and development. In a first, Lucknow University finds a place in the NIRF Rankings 2021!

Marking its maiden entry into the NIRF rankings released by the central government, Lucknow University has been placed in the rank band of 150-200 on the list. Reportedly, LU is the only state university from Uttar Pradesh to bag a spot in the prestigious rankings published by the Ministry of Education. Lucknow University registers a record high of more than 73,000 applications!

After the start of the admission process at Lucknow University, a record-breaking figure of 73,084 applications was registered at the varsity. While 63,944 applications were logged for the 2020-21 academic session, the tally has spiked up remarkably with a hike of 14.3% in just one year. Further, the count of applications for undergraduate courses surged up from 44,252 in 2020 to a total of 48,022 forms received this year.

Lucknow University to conduct UG entrance exams after August 15, check details here!

Lucknow University is gearing up to implement the admission program for the upcoming academic session 2021-22. Reportedly, the varsity will conduct entrance examinations for induction in undergraduate courses after 15th August and the finalised date will be announced soon. Moving ahead with the plans, Lucknow University released the structure of the question papers on Wednesday. Notably, the management has removed the negative marking system from the assessment plan this year.

A third-year CSE student from Lucknow University, Shivam Singh and his team of two others- Siddharth Singh and Vikas Rathore, have secured 75,000 USD (technical credits) from Xartup Investment to fund their startup. The initiative, 'Oregen', is a new-age skills development platform that comes with a gamified learning experience. The channel's primary intent is to bridge the yawning gaps between today's education system and the market requirements, for students in tier 2 or tier 3 cities.
