In a first since April '20, Jaipur reports 0 new COVID cases in the past 48 hours!

In a strong recovery trend, Jaipur has recorded zero fresh COVID cases for two consecutive days on Thursday, for the first time since April 2020. While the city continues to nurse 30 active patients, the highest number across all Rajasthan districts, it also holds the record of yielding maximum recoveries in the state. Besides, Jaipur has not reported even a single COVID death since June, this year.

Lockdown extended till May 17 in Jaipur & other Raj districts as state declares 'Red Alert'!

In view of the fierce COVID surge in Jaipur and other districts of Rajasthan, the state government has sounded for an extension of lockdown-like curbs with a stricter 'Pandemic Red Alert–Jan Anushashan Pakhwara' for the next two weeks. Jaipur, Jodhpur and other districts across the desert state will now observe restrictions until 5 PM on May 17, to break the chain of the coronavirus infections effectively. Rajasthan government launches 24-hour COVID-19 helpline in Jaipur & all other districts

In wake of the swelling rise of coronavirus infection across Rajasthan, the state government on Sunday launched round the clock helpdesks and helpline numbers to resolve emergency and distress across Jaipur and other districts. The helpline numbers, 2225624 and 2225000 will fall under the supervision of Director RCH Dr. Laxman Singh Ola and people can avail of these services anytime to register complaints. COVID inquiries and other queries will also be addressed here.

13 districts in Rajasthan including Jaipur to observe night curfew from 8 PM-6 AM till Jan 15

The state of Rajasthan issued new guidelines on Saturday to curtail the spread and transmission of the coronavirus infection. In a circular issued by the state, 13 districts, including capital Jaipur have been directed to observe a night curfew from 8 PM to 6 AM until January 15. All shops, commercial establishments and other services, except those deemed essential or exempted from the order, will shut down by 7 PM, stated the order.

Rajasthan's Health Department conducts dry run of COVID-19 vaccine to ensure zero casualty

The first day of the year kept the Rajasthan health department officials on their toes as preparations for the dry run of the COVID-19 vaccine in the state, commenced in full swing. On Saturday, the concerned department conducted a trial of the vaccine at 19 centres in 7 districts of the state, as per the Centre's immunization protocol. The complete process of COVID-19 vaccination was followed but without the involvement of any real anti-corona shot.
