India’s newest private airline company, Akasa Air is now working towards expanding its operational network in different states of India. Now, it has made its way to the UP state capital and commenced daily flights between Lucknow & Mumbai and Lucknow & Bengaluru.
Furthermore, the company also marked its arrival in the city along with its first flight departure from the airport.

Reportedly, the first Akasa Air flight departed for Mumbai from Lucknow’s Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport at 1100 IST. Presently, the airline will operate two flights i.e. Lucknow-Mumbai and Lucknow-Bangalore on daily basis from the city which will depart at 11:00 am and 4:30 pm respectively.
The company will further bolster its operations from Lucknow’s CCS airport to other destinations after examining the demand in the city.

Akasa Air, a Mumbai-based low-cost airline commenced its flight operations on 7 August 2022, launching flights between Mumbai to Ahmedabad. Apart from Mumbai and Bangalore, the airline operates in multiple cities including Ahmedabad, Kochi, Chennai, Mumbai, Delhi, Guwahati, Vishakhapatnam and Agartala.
Along with its newest addition to its rapidly growing domestic network, Lucknow has become the 11th operational destination for the company.
With this, Akasa Air recently announced Goa as the 12th location on its network where the airline will commence operations from January 2023 onwards. The newly inaugurated Manohar International Airport (Mopa) will facilitate the airline’s operations in the state.
