In a bid to process the passport applications and to assist the Haj pilgrims efficiently, the regional passport office (RPO), Bhopal will now open special Haj counters at Indore’s Passport office. Notably, the Haj pilgrimage is likely to begin on June 26 for which the MEA has issued the directive.
The dedicated counters will open at the Passport Seva Kendra located in the Anandvan building of Indore Development Authority. With this, the RPO has also started dedicated helplines and the pilgrims can receive information by connecting through the numbers i.e. 077-2602998 2583255, 2583258 during office hours. Additional nodal officers have also been appointed for seamless execution of the process.
