As per the Govt. officials who reviewed the progress of the ongoing work on the new terminal building at Kanpur airport, the work on the same is nearing completion and is 90% done. The remaining work, which includes putting up headlights on the road connecting the Rooma highway to Kanpur airport, is likely to be completed by March 15.
What will the new terminal building offer?
The new terminal at Kanpur airport, stretching across 6,248 square meters, will have the capacity to accommodate up to 300 passengers during peak hours. With 8 check-in counters, passenger conveyor belts and a slew of other services, it is expected to boost convenience for those flying in and out of Kanpur.
