A Yellow Alert has been issued for Mumbai, Pune, Ratnagiri, Raigad, and Thane. No alerts are in place for the next three days, though intermittent showers are expected this week.

At the city’s observatories, Santacruz recorded a maximum temperature of 30.4°C and a minimum of 24.3°C on Monday, while Colaba reported a high of 28.4°C and a low of 24.2°C.

Looking ahead, reports suggest stable temperature patterns, with daytime highs ranging between 28 and 30°C and lows hovering between 24 and 27°C. Heavier rainfall is likely on September 26 and 27, with wind speeds expected to pick up between 20 and 39 kmph as monsoon activity strengthens. Overall, Mumbai is expected to witness 13 to 15 rainy days this month. Belapur, meanwhile, has already recorded 52.2 mm of rainfall in the past 24 hours, indicating active monsoon conditions.
Residents have been advised to carry rain protection and plan their travel with caution, as wet roads and reduced visibility may cause disruptions.
