Among the touristy places that Lucknow is home to, one of the most important is the Ambedkar Memorial Park, earlier known as Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Samajik Parivartan Prateek Sthal. Covering an area of almost 107 acres, the entrance path of this park is flanked by around 62 majestic elephant statues on both sides, which adds to the aesthetics of the Pratibimb Sthal.
Situated at the heart of the park is the Ambedkar Stupa, which is the major attraction of this park. Further, this park is home to several museums and galleries which commemorate the life and work of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar, along with other freedom fighters of India.
