Aiming to inspire and cultivate love for the Sanskrit language, the Uttar Pradesh government has implemented an extensive online educational program. As per the latest developments, the state administration is attempting to include foreign students in this intiative, in order to amplify the scope of this scheme. With an expanded count of pupils, this project will drive enhanced learning and study in the Vedic language.
Foreign students to be equipped with knowledge about verses & rituals
In a bid to ease the process, a specialised helpline with a dedicated WhatsApp number is being established. This will help the foreign students to get inducted in the virtual program without any hassle. In addition to the speech training, the scheme launched by the UP Sanskrit Sansthan will equip the foreign students with knowledge related to Sanskrit verses and rituals.
Vachaspati Mishra, the President of UP Sanskrit Sansthan affirmed that a separate set of teachers will take Sanskrit classes pertaining to spirituality and rituals. This will help the foreign students to learn about the fundamentals of the ancient language, which is often referred to as the ‘Language of Gods’.
More than 8,000 registered students proclaim the success of the program
The course has been received well within the community of learners, with more than 8,000 registered students to date. As per the available information, 1,553 students are taking daily classes in virtual classrooms and the Sansthan is conducting 47 daily classes as of now.
