India's cleanest city is in no mood to rest on its laurels, and has now launched a "No thu-thu" campaign. The campaign was started at the Mhow Naka Chouraha in Indore and is an attempt to raise awareness among the city folks to stop spitting gutkha and pan masala that result in red spots across the city from roadside walls to public buildings and dividers.

Cleanliness campaign also conducted at Robot Square

As part of Indore's "Ab No thu-thu" campaign, a cleanliness drive was also held at the city's Robot Square, which saw volunteers cleaning the spit-stained dividers. Awareness was also raised among those passing by the square to avoid spitting gutkha and pan masala in public places to help rid Indore of the infamous red spots.

A similar cleanliness campaign was also conducted at the Mhow Naka Chouraha and the "Stop Red Spot Express" vehicle advertising the "No thu-thu" campaign's message was also flagged off from the square. In a bid to generate the citizen's interest in the cause, a song was also released at the launch that urges people to say no to "red spots" and take the responsibility upon themselves to make India's cleanest city even more clean.
