The Indore Administration has chalked out a high-tech scheme to revamp the cleanest municipal region of India into a pollution-free one as well. As per reports, the officials will be installing high-rate equipment at 20 different sites in Indore for curbing the rate of pollution in the city to set motion to the plan. Further, the officials associated with the Smart City Mission have wrapped up the planning process and at present, the Pollution Control Board and the Municipal Corporation officials are testing the new equipment in government buildings.

During the course of testing, the devices will be installed for seven days to monitor the pollution levels in different areas and then, its data will be collected for extensive knowledge regarding the same. On similar lines, efforts will be initiated to minimise the pollution levels accordingly. After the final lap of the test is done with, these machines will be installed across the city which would also include Rajwada, the heart of Indore. The list comprises of other places like Chappan Dukan, Phooti Kothi Chauraha, Gangwal Bus Stand, Palasia, Pipliyahana, Polo Ground and so on, according to claims of the authorities.
The AQI levels will be monitored from the control room, built at the Smart City office and the data will be available online for the citizens. Moreover, Indore has also installed a real-time monitoring station at the office of the DIG of Police to surveil the AQI of the city, 24x7.
