Turning locks of his golden fortune, Indore resident Vijay Singh Rathore has opened doors to awe-inspiring success in life. Starting with humble beginnings as a local tea seller in the late 1970s, the city dweller has carved his way to a thriving hot dog business with wide national and international repute. While he used to earn ₹8 a month through his tea shop in 1978, the turnover of his venture, Johny Hot Dog beats the earnings of many high-end restaurants in the city now!

An unprecedented journey of becoming a millionaire!

Affectionately called 'Dadu', Vijay has paved a journey that is assuredly an unprecedented success story. He set up Johny Hot Dog near Starlight Talkies, which later grew to a 120 sq feet shop in the famous Chhappan Dukaan street of Indore. Evolving soon as a favourite amongst locals, the hot dogs offered here, have won patrons from different countries all across the globe today!

With its vegetarian and non-vegetarian preparations, Johny Hot Dog assures satisfaction to all kinds of customers. What makes them unique, is their usage of desi ghee and butter during the cooking process which gives the western snack a treasured Indian taste. With this innovative business, Rathore, the son of a farmer, has trumped fate into becoming a millionaire!

Rathore recalls, "There was a cinema hall here during my childhood days where hot dogs were sold. The cinema hall shut down in the 1970s and I started selling hot dogs outside it." Crediting his mother for his grand success, Rathore affirmed that he gets all the motivation from her. He tells that it is his mother's recipe that has been fruitful towards winning such humongous fame and recognition.

While Johny Hot Dog's list of achievements is endless, the most noteworthy of them all is the 'Most Popular Menu Item in Asia Pacific' in the first-ever Uber Eats APAC Restaurant Partners Awards 2019. Remarkably, the hot dog company left behind big names like McDonald's, Burger King and Pizza Hut as it clinched this special feat.

Medicinal oxygen for COVID treatment is now available at Maurari Nagar & Talkatora in Lucknow

Oxygen carrying vehicles across Uttar Pradesh will now be monitored via GPS tracking.

Indore distributes over 12,000 Remdesivir injections across MP to ensure rapid COVID treatment

Indore District Administration denies permissions to wedding ceremonies amid steep escalation of coronavirus cases.

A large consignment of Remdesivir injections arrived at the Indore Airport on Sunday, carrying about 125 boxes of the COVID treatment drug. This lot collectively made about 12,000 injections available for immediate use. As per the directives of the Chief Minister, the state is undertaking several efforts to ensure that there is an optimum supply of medicines and necessary resources for the treatment of coronavirus infected patients in affected districts. Consequently, the medicine boxes were airlifted from the Indore Airport itself, to ensure immediate availability across other cities.
