Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan flagged off Indore-Delhi Sarai Rohilla Express train on Friday fulfilling the demand of a direct train from Delhi to Indore!

A special train was being run by railways on the route which has now been converted into a weekly train and now travelling to the Capital has become much easier!
Indore-Delhi Sarai Rohilla Express (19337) train is scheduled to depart from Indore at 4.45 pm each Friday and will arrive at Delhi Sarai Rohilla at 10.35am next day via Fatehabad, Ratlam, Mandsaur, Neemuch, Chittaurgarh, Bhilwada, Ajmer, Jaipur, Dousa, Alwar and Rewadi.
In return, it will depart from Delhi Sarai Rohilla at 2.30pm on Saturday and will reach Indore at 9 am the next day!
Before its flag-off ceremony, minister Mahajan hoisted a 100-ft tall tricolour as a part of their plan to provide monumental flag at all erstwhile ‘A1’ category stations.
She also announced about railways’ plans to run weekly train service on Indore-Bikaner and Indore-Gandhidham routes soon!
Mahajan also made announcement regarding the railway’s decision to increase the frequency of Indore-Patna Express (19313/19314) to twice a week and the ministry is considering a change of timing of the Indore-Udaipur Veerbhumi Express (19329) as well!
Sumitra Mahajan also announced that a financial aid of ₹15 lakhs from the MP fund will be granted to the railways for increasing passenger amenities at the station!
This is a joyous news for the commoners who cannot frequently book flights and this train facility has just made it easier for the citizens to travel!
Now we can proudly say that the developments in our beloved Indore is definitely on the right track!
