The need of the hour today, is sanitization and cleanliness because that’s the only possible way to combat this contagious virus. So keeping this in mind, three students from Indore, Vansh Boradia, Narayan Pharkya and Priyanshu Airen, have prepared an Ultraviolet (UV) disinfectant, that works even on edible items. This UV device is exclusive and is termed as better than others as it can sanitize edible items; a feature which is missing in the others. This UV disinfectant has already been tested and permitted by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Indore, as stated by the pupils.

An associate professor in IIT, Indore, who was involved in examining this product, certified it and was quoted saying, “The design of this machine is unique. It is very simple to use and most important feature that it has proved very effective in the technical test. The intention of helping the society through the project is heart-touching.”
In a statement, Narayan Pharkya mentioned that his team had desires to take up this position of an entrepreneur and to create an entrepreneurship model which would assist the society in its issues. He further added that, as per their findings, there is an urgent requirement of an effective disinfectant. Priyanshu Airen stated that their intention has been to produce locally what is needed and have a positive impact on the society. Vansh Boradia further added that they had first designed the concept, then prepared dyes and completed the construction with fitting and fabrications in the city itself.
