The popular Light & Sound Show at Jaipur's Amer Fort resumes after a long COVID halt!

The spectacular dance of light and sound at Amer Fort attracts humongous tourists to Jaipur.

Jaipur witnessed the restart of the much-loved light and sound show at Amer Fort on Tuesday after the long halt caused by the COVID pandemic. The captivating show was temporarily stopped on March 18 and has resumed after 10 months. Tourists had long been waiting for the restart, which has finally happened now, after the arrival of the COVID vaccine in Rajasthan and other parts of the country.

Fort's light & sound show voiced by Big B

On the occasion of Republic Day, the fort lit up in the brightest colours and one of the major attractions from the light and sound show was the voice of superstar Amitabh Bachchan echoing through its chambers. The show is based on stories from the past that have been voiced over by Amitabh Bachchan. After ensuring complete adherence to the COVID guidelines, the unique presentation has been revived by the fort administration.

As per reports, the superintendent of the Amer fort asserted that the mesmerizing light and sound show hosted in the palace is highly loved and appreciated amongst the tourists. What holds the viewers' attention is the finesse with which incidents from Amer's history are presented in the evening show. Given that tourists enthusiastically wait for attending the light and sound event, it had a joyous re-start early this week.

Amer Fort, a central attraction for Jaipur tourists

It is a known fact that the Jaipur's Amer fort has gained worldwide recognition for its architecture and history over a period of time. The massive palace attracts lakhs of visitors every year who are enamoured by its beauty. Be it, a local tourist or a foreign visitor in Jaipur, his/her city tour would be incomplete without paying a visit to this fort. After being a deserted place for a long time during the COVID lockdown, Amer fort is back in its element and is being flocked by hordes of visitors once again.

FIR to be filed against those caught dirtying roads and walls in Indore
