At Drive & Dine, diners are welcomed by a kiosk that hands them a token number displaying the parking slot for their vehicle. The dinner table is located next to the demarcated parking slot and two dining areas are cordoned off each other by ropes.
By scanning the QR code, the order is placed digitally and brought to your table in a golf-cart and the allure of this hattke serving style has caught the fascination of food enthusiasts in and around Kanpur. Further, you can enjoy your mealtime as per your liking – under the open sky or in the comfort of your car! Converting two of its lush banquet halls into its latest venture, Drive & Dine by Dhuaan, can host a total of 40 cars at a time. However, in an effort to maintain social distancing, Lawn 1 is kept open from Monday to Wednesday with its individual capacity of 10 cars and Lawn 2 is functional from Thursday to Saturday, with its individual capacity of 30 cars.
Extending the covid safety protocols into the eating area, diners are handed a special case to place their face masks, the dining area is sanitised with electrostatic guns and the crockery and cutlery are stored in a UV sterilisation chamber. Further, before welcoming the diners inside, temperature checks are performed and the car’s bonnet is sanitised.
