Standing at a height of 3,100 feet, Amsot Peak is located in the Sonbhadra district of Uttar Pradesh and is 768 km from Lucknow, the capital city. Being comparatively unexplored, the peak offers a serene environment for tourists and is an absolute must-visit for those who are fond of relatively unexplored places.
Amsot Peak in Uttar Pradesh is part of the Kaimur Range, which spans across the Northern and Central Parts of India. The peak also offers a trek, which begins from the base village of Chutmalpur and is of ‘moderate’ difficulty.
As for the flora and fauna, the area offers a diverse range, featuring birds, deer, leopards, pine trees, sal, oak, and more.
