Those travelling on the Agra-Lucknow Expressway today, i.e., March 29, will have to face some traffic issues as the expressway will be closed at regular intervals between 10 AM and 02:45 PM. The reason behind blocking the traffic for short durations during the five hour period is the shifting of power transmission lines.
Also, traffic movement at any of the spots on the expressway will not be stopped for more than 15 minutes. This decision to allow traffic movement at regular intervals has been taken keeping in mind the convenience of those who frequent the expressway.
Furthermore, the traffic stoppages will only affect those traversing between Agra and Lucknow while those taking the expressway to go to Kanpur or Unnao won’t be affected.
