The Chocolate Room in Kapoorthala is our go to when we’re looking for a good cup of coffee, a sinfully sweet waffle, an overloaded panini sandwich, nachos and even dessert shakes. What “The Chocolate Room” had not been known for was its dine-in menu but often, we felt so at home here that we wanted to succeed our coffee with a full blown lunch.
After a long wait, the chocolate forward cafe has finally launched a Chinese and a Sizzler menu, to give us more option than the simple sandwich, burger or nachos.

The Chocolate Room has launched two separate menu sections called ‘Chinese room’ and ‘Sizzler’ aiming to provide more savoury and dine-in options to the patrons.
Who can deny the fact that a hot, steaming plate of food is a pretty great thing to have on the table. We love the warm wooden plates, the wafting aromas of char and the wonderful sizzle that accompanies a sizzler. If you are a fan of sizzlers you will love the peri peri Mexican Sizzler, Mac & Cheese Sizzler, Paneer Chilli & Fried Rice Sizzler and Italian Sizzle. Out of the bunch, the Chicken Chilli & Fried Rice and Mac and Cheese sizzlers are our definite favourites.

We also tried the dried Chili Chicken, Chicken 65, Paneer Manchurian, Chili Garlic Chicken Noodles and the Honey Chili Potatoes and we have to say, the Chinese here is pretty bomb!
So if you live around the Aliganj area, or just happen to be shopping in Kapoorthala’s Pragati Bazaar, head to The Chocolate Room and enjoy the amazing spread. We would recommend ordering any of the cold coffee shakes/frappes to soothe your palate after the big meal and rounding everything off with a sweet, chocolaty and delicious waffle.
