For over 18 years, the EPL has supported Indian football through its Premier Skills program, training 7,300+ coaches and referees and benefiting 124,000 young players. It also partners with the Indian Super League (ISL), sharing expertise in coaching, refereeing, and youth development. The Next Gen Cup, an elite youth tournament featuring ISL and Premier League U19 teams, will return to Mumbai in May 2025.
Premier League CEO Richard Masters called the move a “significant milestone”, highlighting Indiaโs growing football culture. The office will enhance fan engagement and partnerships, including with broadcast giant JioStar.
