Lowest tally of daily COVID cases recorded in Maharashtra in 17 months

Maharashtra has witnessed a dip in daily fresh cases in a long while, with 1,485 new instances reported on Monday. The state has managed to mark the lowest daily count and the total tally now stands at 65,93,182. Moreover, as per reports, about a dozen districts and a few municipal corporations across the state marked zero fresh cases on Monday.

Night curfew to no longer be active in Lucknow & other UP districts

Witnessing a sharp decline in the number of COVID cases in the state, the Government of Uttar Pradesh has decided to call off the existing pandemic-mandated night curfew in all districts including Lucknow. In order to trap and tackle the spread of Coronavirus infection, a night curfew from 11 PM to 6 AM had been active for a long time now. Amusement parks in Maharashtra to open for visitors from Oct 22nd

After allowing cinema halls and theatres to restart services, the govt has now permitted dry amusement parks in Maharashtra to reopen, Friday onwards. The administration on Monday decided to reopen all dry amusement parks in the state from October 22 after a detailed discussion with the state COVID Task Force and Children's Task Force. Fresh COVID-related guidelines issued in Rajasthan amid the festive season

In view of the dipping COVID tallies in Rajasthan, the state government has issued fresh guidelines, including a list of relaxations. Reportedly, the administration has given a green signal to various events in the territory and religious functions are also allowed now. However, not more than 200 people can attend these programs at a time. Besides, the night curfews shall remain effective in Rajasthan from 11 PM to 5 AM every day.

UP becomes the first state in India to record more than 11 crore vaccinations!

In a remarkable feat, Uttar Pradesh has become the first state in the country to record the administration of more than 11 crore COVID vaccination doses. According to logs, the total count of inoculations administered in the state touched the 11.07 crore mark by 9 PM on Monday. Further, official figures state that Lucknow has contributed significantly to the state's vaccination tally, with over 39.42 lakh doses given in the city.
