Sculpture of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel unveiled at Flower Show
A remarkable sculpture of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, akin to the Statue of Unity, has been introduced at this year’s flower show. Created at the expense of Rs 18 lakhs, the 6.3-meter high sculpture features legs, hands, claws, and a mouth crafted from fiber.
Executed by a team of 20, the entire pattern was sewn using green cloth, and the remaining parts of the sculpture were fashioned from plant moss sourced from hilly regions. Sardar Patel’s koti-shawl is adorned with red henna, and the rest of the sculpture is covered in green henna. A complete flower bed arrangement will complement the statue.
