Goa 12th Board-GBSHSE HSC Examinations 2021 stand cancelled amid pandemic mayhem

A day after the CBSE Board cancelled its council examination for the batch of 2021, the Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Education (GBHSE) on Wednesday too decided to call off the 12th Board Exams in the state, for this academic year. As announced by the CM on June 2, the GBSHSE HSC Examinations 2021 stand cancelled amid the surging course of the COVID-19 pandemic. As per reports, the Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education will declare the evaluation criteria for the cancelled exams soon.

Evaluation guidelines released for state board students of Class 10 in Mumbai & other Maha dists

The board examinations for Class 10 were scheduled to take place in March, however, owing to the surge in COVID cases across the state, the Maharashtra government has cancelled them. Despite being rebuked by the Bombay High Court for their decision, the government is not changing this decision as the state has 2,89,088 active cases as yet. In a meeting on Thursday, state officials took decisions regarding promoting students and conducting Common Entrance Test (CET) for admission to junior colleges.

Lucknow schools to resume for classes 6 to 8; other UP districts to follow suit

The Uttar Pradesh government is considering to resume schools across all districts, for students of classes 6 to 8. In a review meeting conducted at CM's residence yesterday, state authorities have decided to undertake a holistic evaluation to resume schools for the junior classes. An official in the Chief Minister's Office, informed schools in Lucknow and other state districts are likely to resume classes, on-premises, in 10 days' time.
