Over 9 lakh people in India get 'precautionary dose' against COVID on the first day!

Goa aims full vaccination for all eligible citizens by December 19

All Goa citizens who haven't yet received their second dose of the Covid-19 vaccine are encouraged to do so as soon as possible. The Goa Government is aiming to achieve complete vaccination by December19, the state's Liberation Day. At the time of filing this report, 1.20 lakh people, out of the eligible population of 11.50 lakh, are yet to receive their second dose.

Public services in Indore to only be available to the fully vaccinated from November 30

Various public service associations in Indore have come together to start a unique campaign, wherein they will only offer services to those who have been fully vaccinated, starting November 30. This initiative is being carried out to ensure strict vaccination in the city. Less than half of the people of Madhya Pradesh who had gotten the first dose have taken up the second dose, according to the Union Health Ministry's data. More than 500 vaccination centres are available across the district to facilitate convenient vaccination.

Vaccination drive in UP to get a boost with Cluster Model 2.0

In a bid to speed up the COVID-19 vaccination coverage in the state, the government of Uttar Pradesh has decided to adopt the 'Cluster Model 2.0'. Focusing on the administration of the second and the final dose, this new strategy will be implemented from November 1 in rural areas. Notably, the UP government had earlier organised an inoculation drive at the block level by creating mini clusters. The second version of this model that will be implemented next month, includes a few additional changes.
