As we delved into the rich tapestry of Namak’s cuisine, we found age-old recipes are lovingly preserved and classic dishes entail contemporary twists. Speaking of the ambience, Namak oozes luxury through its relaxed seating, and warm hospitality and we’ve got to mention the swanky cutlery too!
Namak showcases a diverse range of creative dishes, drawing on influences from Awadhi and Hyderabadi flavours. Here, the Mushroom Galauti (₹1250) and Peeli Mirch Aur Nimbu Wale Jhinga (₹2400) are highly recommended. Further, this Vile Parle gem also has a finely curated buffet menu, featuring unlimited appetisers, main course and desserts; ₹3250 for vegetarians and ₹3750 for non-vegetarians.
A 4-course set menu for ONLY ₹1399!
We get it – Namak can be quite heavy on the pockets. However, Namak’s Safarnama Lunch, a 4-course set menu for ₹1399, is quite a show stopper. With Paneer Aam Papad Roll, Bhatti ka Murgh, Pindi Chole, Kozhi Varutha Curry, Angoori Gulab Jamun and Cranberry Mojito, this one left us with a full stomach and satisfied smiles. Do note, Namak will also be starting a Progressive Modern Indian menu, closer to Diwali – so this would be your cue to pay this Vile Parle restaurant a visit.
