Inklings of summer are already being felt in Indore as the temperature in the city has continued on its upward path, yet again rising over 31°C on Feb 16. The night temperature in Indore was also reported to be 2°C above normal, crossing 14°C on Thursday.
Cloudy skies but no chances of rain
Patchy clouds might populate the Indore sky for the next couple of days but there are no chances of rainfall, according to officials from the Meteorological department. But the partially cloudy sky might cause slight changes in the temperature, which might drop a Celsius or two owing to the cloud cover.
Furthermore, Met officials added that “A fresh western disturbance is likely to affect the western Himalayan region from February 18. Under its influence, a gradual rise is expected in minimum temperature by two to four degrees Celsius over many parts of northwest and central India during the next five days”.
