After losing the tournament opener to defending champions Gujarat Titans, Dhoni’s CSK will look to bounce back against the Lucknow Super Giants in today’s game at Chennai’s MA Chidambaram stadium. The CSK vs LSG match, which will kick off at 07:30 PM, is promising to be a thrilling affair.
The Chepauk pitch is usually a spinner’s delight
Traditionally, the pitch at Chepauk Stadium has been a spin-friendly turf which doesn’t see many high scoring games. Naturally, such a pitch will prove to be helpful for CSK spinners like Ravindra Jadeja and Mitch Santner. But a relatively slow wicket might also pose problems for CSK’s middle order, which didn’t put on a good display in the previous game.
Lucknow Super Giants, on the other hand, are coming off the back of an impressive victory in their first game against Delhi Capitals.
