Yes, you guessed it right! Its Indore’s famous Lal Balti Kachori, which has won the hearts of localites, tourists, the common people and celebs alike.

Interestingly enough, 60 years ago, when the shop first opened its doors, the owners used a red bucket with a bulb inside to make the place stand out, and indicate that it was open. However, with time, it has become a symbol of its legacy and flavourful kachoris, for which people lineup everyday.
The golden brown, aloo kachories are served with a tangy green chutney and claimed to be finger-liciously-good far and beyond. Bollywood celebs such as Madhuri Dixit, Nana Patekar and even former Prime Minister of India, Atal Bihari Vajpayee have been summoned by it’s enchanting taste.
Today, it has three branches in Indore at Tilak Path, Rajendra Nagar and Silicon City. When the place first opened, one piece of potato kachori was sold at only five paise, and now it costs around ₹15.
