As per the recently published National Institute Ranking Framework (NIRF), 2023, Indian Institute of Technology, Indore, has jumped two notches in the ‘Engineering’ category. While, last year IIT Indore stood at the 16th spot, this year it stands with a score of 63.93 at the 14th spot.
Meanwhile, Indian Institute of Management, Indore has slipped a place and ranked 8th with a 71.95 score under the ‘Management’ category.

Talking about the overall ranking of Indore‘s prestigious institutes, IIT managed to make the cut in top 100 colleges of India, however IIM failed to grab a spot.
Comparing with last year, IIT-Indore ranked 31 with a score of 55.13. This year, as per NIRF 2023, it has jumped three spots and secured a place at 28 with 58.00 points, slightly better than the previous year. Marking the accomplishment, officials at IIT Indore even congratulated the students, faculty members and staff personnels through Twitter.
Meanwhile, Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV) of Indore retained its previous spot.
