Parimal Garden has been that oasis for Amdavadis since it was built in 1960. This lush park boasts diverse tree canopies, a serene lake dotted with lotuses and fish, cosy seating areas wrapped in greenery, an auditorium, and captivating art installations. The walkway next to the park is a picturesque tunnel of bright pink bougainvillea blooms, creating a stunning canopy.

Features of Parimal Garden
Parimal Garden offers a variety of features. At its heart lies a central lotus pond with fish, surrounded by a hundred terrazzo benches. The park also includes a walkway, a herbal garden, and a sports zone.
Additionally, this green space features brick chimneys representing the city’s textile industry heritage and an art installation of monkeys, made from scrap metal by Vadodara-based artist Premkumar Vaishya (David).
During the 2021 restoration, the brick chimneys and bougainvillea arbour were retained and restored. Over 600 trees of 45 species and 7,500 plants of 125 species, including bamboo and palm trees, were planted. The garden is home to an old banyan tree as well.
