Due to the speed restrictions Goregaon and Kandivali, certain Mumbai local train services on the Western Line will face cancellations till October 4. Notably, these restrictions are in place to enable construction work on the 5th and 6th railway lines between Kandivali and Ram Mandir.
As a result, anywhere between 150-175 services will face cancellations. During this period, the Goregaon loop line will be unavailable and all four fast Goregaon morning services will also remain suspended. Till October 4, speed restrictions of 30 km/h have been imposed on all four suburban lines between the Ram Mandir, Goregaon, and Malad.
Furthermore, the said speed limit will be gradually relaxed, and normal service will resume on the route starting Friday, October 4.
