Kicked off today, September 26-28, design enthusiasts will immerse themselves in a curated world of innovative showcases, expert-led symposiums, and Mumbai’s vibrant food scene, all under the theme The Age of Design Syncretism.
This year’s fair explores the fusion of design, culture, and craftsmanship, inviting visitors to experience the evolving landscape of global and Indian design.
Exhibits, symposiums, and a vision for fusion
Held at Jio World Garden, BKC, ID Mumbai 2025 showcases the finest in furniture, home decor, lighting, and accessories from top Indian and international luxury brands. This year’s theme, ‘The Age of Design Syncretism’, celebrates the fusion of global design, local culture, and timeless craft. Over three immersive days, visitors can explore curated exhibits and the latest design trends.
The highlight of the event is the ID Symposium, featuring thought-provoking discussions with global experts. Day one begins with architect PK Das rethinking Mumbai’s masterplan and an Indo-French dialogue on textile collaborations. The following days offer insights from experts like Vikas Dilawari on preserving Mumbai’s Art Deco heritage and Sandeep Sangaru on the future of craft.
The experience also includes two standout exhibitions, NEO DECO, which reimagines Art Deco for the modern age, and Syncretic Threads, an immersive exploration of textile design.
