The Lucknow Development Authority has floated a proposal of establishing a central complex near the 1090 intersection in Lucknow. As per the detailed project report, the complex will have the facility of co-working space for startups with BPOs, data processing centres, banks, shops, restaurants, cafeterias and canteens. State Habitat & Expo Center to come up in the city soon

In the meeting of the City Development Plan, consultants have given a presentation to Commissioner Ranjan Kumar and Vice-Chairman of LDA Akshay Tripathi for the same. Notably, the central complex will be built in the shape of a fish symbolizing the state government’s logo.
Apart from the innovation hub that will be mapped out on 150 acres of land at the sub-city centre near the 1090 intersection, a Knowledge Park and Science City will also be built in the CG City soon. As a part of this project, a museum, planetarium and robotics park will also come up in the city soon. According to officials who attended the meeting, a place will soon be earmarked for Sports City and Sports College on Kursi Road.
Under the ambit of the Mohan Road Scheme, LDA is planning on establishing a State Habitat and Expo Center in the city. This establishment will be equipped with an exhibition hall with a capacity of 10,000 people, an auditorium and a space for defence and medical exhibitions.
Notably, the administration is taking various measures to develop Lucknow like big metropolitan cities. These initiatives are not only going to give a facelift to the city but also boost the startup culture in Lucknow.
