If you have recently crossed the Polytechnic Chauraha, then we’re sure that you must have seen a couple of artists beautifying the expansive wall, running parallel to the Wave Mall. For a couple of days now, painters have been occupied with this mural project, which is all set to revamp the boring wall and turn the stretch into a work of art.
A new lease of life, enveloped in colours
The wall art project being carried out here, showcases snippets of the heritage and culture of India and some of the paintings, have roots in historical and religious texts. The vibrancy of the artworks is simply eye-catching and the hand-painted murals have definitely breathed a new lease of life in this vicinity.
Previously too, there have been projects like these by the LDA on the Shaheed Path stretch and other locales, which have made Lucknow prettier than before. But now the responsibility lies on the citizens to keep these walls clean and we’re absolutely rooting for more such colourful chaurahas in the future.
