The Northern Division of Lucknow Railways has scheduled special trains from the districts of Hapur and Saharanpur to Lucknow in order to ferry passenger who are appearing for competitive exams in the city. Running specifically on December 19 and December 20, these examination special trains will be available for people with prior reservation only.
Special trains for exam candidates in Lucknow
According to the Senior Divisional Commercial Manager here, the exam special trains, running from Hapur to Lucknow and Saharanpur to Lucknow will have 18 coaches in total, including 16-second class coaches and 2 sleeper cum luggage rakes (SLRs). He further informed that the same trains have been scheduled for the return journey to these destinations, from the capital.
Know the Schedule:
As per the schedule drafted, train number 04304 will run from Hapur to Lucknow on December 19, at 6:10 PM from the Hapur Railway Station and reach Lucknow around 3:30 AM in the morning. This route will map through Gajraula, Amroha, Moradabad, Chandausi, Bareilly Cantt, Shahjahanpur, Hardoi, Balamau. For the return journey, Train Number 04303 will depart from Lucknow railway station at 7 PM, on December 20.
Similarly, train number (04306/04305) Saharanpur-Lucknow-Saharanpur will run on December 19 and December 20, respectively. This train will leave Saharanpur at 6:30 PM and reach Lucknow at 4:50 AM. This train will reach the capital via Moradabad, Rampur, Bareilly, Shahjahanpur, Hardoi, Balamau and return to Saharanpur at 6:10 PM on December 20.
