Govt reduces number of schools in Mission Schools of Excellence Project
After setting a target of 85 schools under the Mission Schools of Excellence Project, the state government has now brought the number down to 25. These will include a total of 20 Gyan Shakti Residential schools and Gyan Shakti Tribal Residential schools and 5 Raksha Shakti schools. It is noteworthy that these schools will offer free education to the underprivileged students between Class 6 and Class 8.

With an investment of a whopping ₹8,000 crore, Ahmedabad will soon get a new IT Special Economic Zone (SEZ). To be known as ‘Million Minds Tech City’, the new IT SEZ in Ahmedabad will come up near the Chharodi Village that runs along Ahmedabad’s SG Road.
