The popular Ahmedabad Flower Show has done it again, earning yet another Guinness World Record. This year, the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) created the world’s largest flower bouquet (size), standing at a towering 10.24 metres in height with a diameter of 10.84 metres.
Recognised on the 7th of January 7 2025, by a Guinness World Records team, the bouquet surpassed the previous record held by the Al Ain Municipality, UAE, whose floral arrangement measured 7.7 metres. The city’s Deputy Mayor accepted the award during an event attended.
Guinness World Record for the longest flower wall in 2024!
This is the second consecutive Guinness World Record for the Flower Show. Last year, the event set a record for the longest flower wall, measuring 221 metres, surpassing the previous record of 166.15 metres.
Held at the Sabarmati Riverfront, this year’s show to run till the 22nd of January features over 1 million flowers from more than 50 species, including exotic varieties like roses, lilies, and orchids. The event is organised into 6 thematic zones focusing on Culture and Heritage, Sustainability, and a Vision for the Future.
Visitors can enjoy an enhanced experience with a QR code-based audio guide system, offering multilingual insights into the displays. The show, a yearly highlight for Ahmedabad, continues to draw millions, cementing its national and international acclaim.
