Salman Khan becomes the face of Madhya Pradesh tourism

Salman Khan may be well known for his blockbuster hits, his wide audience or his brand ‘Being Human’. But what many people don’t know is that he was actually born in Indore.

Which is why, news about the city topping Swachh Survekshan for the third time in a row and being proclaimed as the cleanest in the country, has him pumped up. With that and his childhood in mind, Salman Khan has become the face of Madhya Pradesh tourism, promoting not just Indore, but the entire state as a whole.

The Bollywood actor is all set to take up this role and he went on to say that this is a great opportunity for him.

The rich cultural and architectural significance of the Madhya Pradesh makes it a perfect tourist spot now, with the Bollywood star promoting the state, it is expected to become a popular and tourist friendly state.

Salman Khan was born on December 27, 1965 at a nursing home in Indore’s Palasia area. He spent his childhood in Indore, as his grandfather was a senior police officer there. He has often donated to charities and paid for many children’s homes in Indore.

His goal, by becoming the face for MP tourism is to attract more visitors to the state and exposing people to the various things the state has to offer. From varied cuisine, magnificent ghats, old elaborate temples to stunning natural landscape the state has something to cater to everyone’s interests.

Of late, Indore has been witnessing a lot of good news and this news comes as the cherry on top of it all.
