The Leela cottages at Ashvem beach is a place that has been created and curated with all the love, hardwork and dedication of two brothers who decided to put together a resort in their mother’s name 7-8 years ago.

Beautiful Rajasthani style door and a carved wooden three seater chair in a small garden by the brick-path leading to your cottage will instantly book a place in your heart. The hammock, tied between the trees that flank the cottages, immediately kicks-in the child in you.
The rooms are huge with interiors of each cottage different from the other. The personalized small details like frames of the wall mirrors, the mosaic above the curtain panels and the colourful details in the wooden centre table show the care taken in hand-picking every item for the room.

The view of the sea from the in-house beach-side restaurant is breathtaking. Try the chocolate truffle to satisfy your sweet tooth cravings. The other in-house restaurant is the Ma cafe which proudly boasts of serving a wide range of raw-vegan dishes. Although when we visited to cover the place Ma cafe was shut.
