As per the statement of the CMHO, the coronavirus case positivity ratio in Indore has scaled up by 8.9%, furnishing over 200 cases for the last 2 days. Though the rate of fresh cases has exceeded the rate of recovery in the past week, the mortality rate in Indore is on a steady decline. Earlier, the Chief Minister had also pinned the increasing case rise in Indore and Bhopal as a reason of concern.

In a bid to curb the rate of transmission, several awareness programmes are being conducted in all districts across Madhya Pradesh that are reporting over 10 cases. Travellers' movement from Maharashtra is not restricted but visitors will have to undergo thermal scanning on arrival, stated the CM.
